Something I've gotten into through video editing and singing has been audio manipulation, which is pretty cool.
I first heard of audio mixing as a term in some singing projects that I participated in.
Someone would be in charge of mixing and I eventually learned about it and grew to appreciate it!

I use Audacity for quick audio recording and fixes

Sometimes I bring out Adobe Audition for the big guns

I would love to really learn how to make audio sound exactly how I want it.
I'm still not too great at mixing since I don't have many opportunities to practice though.
For example I'm mixing my voice through a program called EqualizerAPO + Reaper so that I sounds like a radio DJ by default.
I've also tried to mix my voice in my song covers but it hasn't turned out as good as I want.
I still don't know what half the things do but I want to learn!
